Artist’s inspiration:
“Part of a series of works where a deeper palette was worked with, this piece was inspired by a point in time - a context of light fading. Within the trees, as the sun sets and light changes, so does our experience. This piece attempted to retain the raw and textured brushwork, conveying nature and her irregular, yet beautiful patterns and idiosyncrasies.
